From Juneau Roots to
NBA Greatness

Juneau isn’t just another stop on Carlos Boozer’s basketball journey — it’s home. Raised in Alaska before becoming a two-time NBA All-Star and Olympic Gold Medalist, Boozer’s roots in Juneau helped shape the grit, work ethic, and determination that carried him to the highest levels of the game. The Boozer Basketball Camp gives young athletes a rare opportunity to learn directly from someone who once dreamed big from the same community they call home. More than a camp, it’s a chance for Juneau’s next generation to be inspired by a hometown success story who proves that no dream is too big — even from Alaska.

Schedule.

Hosted at Juneau-Douglas High School in Juneau, Alaska, the Boozer Basketball Camp brings together elite-level instructors, coaches, family, and friends of the Boozer family to create an unforgettable week of basketball. Athletes will build skills, confidence, teamwork, and leadership through high-energy training sessions designed for players of all levels.

OUR WHY

Basketball has the power to build confidence, create community, and inspire young athletes to dream bigger. Our mission is to grow the game of basketball in Alaska by bringing elite coaches, trainers, mentors, and instructors to Juneau each year to provide high-level training, guidance, and opportunities that help athletes develop both on and off the court.

The Boozer Basketball Camp is about more than skill development — it’s about giving the next generation the tools, knowledge, and belief needed to chase their goals with confidence. We want every camper to leave inspired, motivated, and reminded that where you come from should never limit where you can go.
